It is a fibre that loves and needs water to keep it soft and supple. A machine wash in a washing machine is quite appropriate with a cold programme and the use of a special wool detergent. To avoid felting the fibre, a very gentle spin is recommended. For drying, the cashmere piece should be laid flat on a bath towel, away from warm and light.
Thanks to this, the material will not be deformed. As for ironing, a soft iron with a steam jet is better, taking care not to pull on the knitwear. In the dressing room, cashmere should not be hung up, but rather stored folded, lying flat and away from sunlight.
